- Health and Safety Committee: Next Meeting: Thursday 30 March 2023 at 1pm
- If you can’t join the HSC meetings, you can still participate by providing feedback, questions, or concerns to hsc@raeengineering.ca. Please submit feedback prior to the next meeting so it can be brought forward.
- The HSC meets the last Thursday of each month at 1pm via Teams

- Hazard Reporting: Due by end of each month
- Once a month, submit at least 1 hazard ID, incident, accident, or near miss to hazardreporting@raeengineering.ca to demonstrate your commitment to thinking about safety
- Non-work-related incidents count as well, just indicate that it was not work-related in the subject.

- RAE Contractors will be expected to complete the 2023 Knowledge Check after contract negotiations for the 2023 year.

Energy Safety Canada (ESC)
- ESC has released a safety alert: Storage Tank Becomes Brittle and Cracks
- A visual inspection revealed a flaw in the construction material of a storage tank. Collaborative work between client and vendor could help in preventing these types of events.
- On Sunday, March 12 at 2:00 am, clocks across most of Canada will turn forward one hour to observe Daylight Saving Time. The “loss” of this hour has real impacts.

Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC)
- MHCC has issued their latest edition of The Catalyst which features:
