- Company Safety Meeting Presentation: was due Fri 14 April 2023
- If you have not already done so by the deadline, please review the attached Company Safety Meeting on SiteDocs to indicate you have reviewed it. If the deadline has passed – you missed it.
- H&S Bulletin: Answer due by 8am Friday 28 April 2023

- Health and Safety Committee: Next Meeting: Thursday 27 April 2023 at 1pm
- If you can’t join the HSC meetings, you can still participate by providing feedback, questions, or concerns to hsc@raeengineering.ca. Please submit feedback prior to the next meeting so it can be brought forward.
- The HSC meets the last Thursday of each month at 1pm via Teams
- HSC Meeting Minutes can be found in the Teams Channel and SiteDocs
- Hazard Reporting: Due by end of each month
- Once a month, submit at least 1 hazard ID, incident, accident, or near miss to hazardreporting@raeengineering.ca to demonstrate your commitment to thinking about safety
- Non-work-related incidents count as well, just indicate that it was not work-related in the subject.
- Safety Rewards Program: Where your commitment to RAE’s Safety Culture is rewarded!

- RAE Contractors will be expected to complete the 2023 Knowledge Check after contract negotiations for the 2023 year.

- With a new year, many clients are updating their orientations. A master list of client orientations made known to RAE Safety are compiled in Acumatica Doc RAE000020-Client Site Requirements and Orientations Tracker which is updated as orientations are made known.

Energy Safety Canada (ESC)
- Energy Safety Canada Online newsletter has been issued which features:
- Energy Wheel Awareness with video on how to use the wheel during pre-job assessments to help improve hazard recognition up to 30%
- Link to OHS Canada Article on how ill-fitting PPE for women creates additional safety hazards
- The recently released Safety Bulletin Steam Hazards
- New online courses
- COAA Notice of Revisions to the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Version 6.0 available on the COAA website and Energy Safety Canada website
- Link to a recorded presentation to learn about the latest developments on legal requirements related to noise control in the workplace

- Energy Safety Canada (ESC) is pleased to announce the publication of the second edition of the Electrical Safety Program Development Guideline.
- This guideline has been written for large and small employers in the energy industry. It provides guidance in developing or assessing an electrical safety program within a company’s Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS)
