HSE Updates Week of 16 June 2021 – RAE, COVID, ESC

- Safety Rewards Program: Where your commitment to RAE’s Safety Culture is rewarded!
- 2021 SRP: June is the last month in quarter 2!
- Criteria will remain the same as last year (see below for what is included in SRP criteria).
- Payout will continue to be automatic on the pay-period following each quarter.
- Payout amounts will be reviewed each quarter based on company performance and may be subject to change.

- Company Safety Meeting Presentation: was due Fri 11 June 2021 *part of SRP
- If you have not already done so, please review the attached Company Safety Meeting and Employee training presentation and indicate that you have done so by replying to the email.
- Even if you miss the deadline for meeting attendance, you are still required to review the Employee Safety Training presentation(s) and indicate you have done so.
- Health and Safety Committee: Feedback by Fri 25 June 2021*part of SRP
- If you can’t join the HSC meetings, provide feedback for the meeting minutes and/or submit any questions or concerns you want us to bring forward. Please submit feedback prior to the next meeting so it can be brought forward.
- June H&S Bulletin: Answer due Fri 25 June 2021 *part of SRP
- Submit your response for the Health and Safety Bulletin for a chance to win $25.
- Mandatory PPGs: Stats are gathered at the beginning of each month for the previous month *part of SRP
- Ensure all mandatory PPGs have been reviewed and marked as “Read”. These are mandatory for all staff.
- Hazard Reporting: Due by end of each month *part of SRP
- Once a month, submit at least 1 hazard, incident, accident, or near miss to hazardreporting@raeengineering.ca
- Non-work-related incidents count as well, just indicate that it was not work-related in the subject.
- Peer Recognitions: Due by Company Safety Meeting each month *part of SRP

COVID-19
- Alberta’s Open for Summer Plan: Entered Stage 2 as of 10 June 2021.

- Distancing and masking requirements remain in effect.
- Outdoor social gatherings – up to 20 people with distancing (indoor social gatherings still not permitted)
- Indoor recreation, entertainment, and other settings (rec centres, arenas, casinos, cinemas, theatres, museums, galleries, libraries, etc.) – open at 1/3 of fire code occupancy.
- Gyms and fitness studios – open for solo and drop-in activities and indoor fitness classes with 3 metre distancing
- Personal and wellness services – resume walk-in service.
- Restaurants – 6 people per table max, indoors or outdoors.
- Youth and adult sports – resume with no restrictions, indoors and outdoors.
- Work from home order is lifted but still recommended.
- To enter Stage 3: Two weeks after 70% of Albertans 12+ (born in 2009 or earlier) have received at least one dose. Expected to be effective in late June or early July.
- Vaccines: All Albertans ages 12 and older are now eligible to receive their vaccine shot

- You can request to be added to the waitlist for a particular pharmacy and they will either contact you when there’s an opening to go in, or let you know there are appointment availabilities so you can book online (I could not find an option to book online through a pharmacy directly)

- Booking through the online tool is recommended due to the high volume of calls.
- Open for Summer Lottery
- All Alberta residents 18 and older who have had at least one dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine can enter to win one of three $1 million prizes.
- You only need to enter once, but must be able to provide proof you have received your: first dose to win the July draw, second dose to win the August and September draws
