- Company Safety Meeting Presentation: was due Fri 10 February 2023
- If you have not already done so by the deadline, please review the Company Safety Meeting on SiteDocs to indicate you have reviewed it. If the deadline has passed – you missed it.
- February H&S Bulletin: Answer due by 8am Friday 24 February 2023

- Health and Safety Committee: Next Meeting: Thursday 23 February 2023 at 1pm
- If you can’t join the HSC meetings, you can still participate by providing feedback, questions, or concerns to hsc@raeengineering.ca. Please submit feedback prior to the next meeting so it can be brought forward.
- The HSC meets the last Thursday of each month at 1pm via Teams
- HSC Meeting Minutes can be found in the Teams Channel and SiteDocs
- Hazard Reporting: Due by end of each month
- Once a month, submit at least 1 hazard ID, incident, accident, or near miss to hazardreporting@raeengineering.ca to demonstrate your commitment to thinking about safety
- Non-work-related incidents count as well, just indicate that it was not work-related in the subject.
- Safety Rewards Program: Where your commitment to RAE’s Safety Culture is rewarded!

- 2023 HSE Manual Knowledge Check: testmoz.com/12407464 Due: Tues 28 Feb 2023
- All RAE Employees are expected to successfully complete the 2023 HSE Manual Knowledge Check by Tues 28 Feb 2023.
- RAE Contractors will be expected to complete the 2023 Knowledge Check after contract negotiations for the 2023 year
- Client Orientations:
- With a new year, many clients are updating their orientations. A master list of client orientations made known to RAE Safety are compiled in Acumatica Doc RAE000020-Client Site Requirements and Orientations Tracker which is updated as orientations are made known.
Energy Safety Canada (ESC)
- Energy Safety Canada is seeking industry feedback on its draft Process Safety Metrics and Event Reporting Guide.
- The scope of this guideline includes the reporting recommendations for Tier 1 and 2 process safety events (PSEs) in the upstream and midstream oil and natural gas industry involving a loss of primary containment (LOPC) during offshore and onshore operations.
- The 45-day industry review period for this document concludes on March 26, 2023.
- Energy Safety Canada is a member of the Construction Safety Research Alliance (CSRA). The CSRA is an alliance of industry leaders and experienced scientists who are focused on transformative construction safety research.
- The CSRA provides free resources and the following annual summary of the work conducted to date including:
- Statistical invalidity of TRIR as a measure of safety performance
- Defining serious injuries
- Improving incident investigation and learning
- Predictive analytics
