Please review the applicable HSE Updates.
- ERP Drills:
- All staff are required to review and sign-off the ERP for their branch
- Company Safety Meeting Presentation: deadline: second Friday of each month for the previous month
- If you have not already done so by the deadline, please review the attached Company Safety Meeting on SiteDocs to indicate you have reviewed it. If the deadline has passed – you missed it but are still expected to review and sign-off the presentation in SiteDocs.
- H&S Bulletin: Answer due by 8am last Friday of the month (Fri 26 April 2024 this month)

- Health and Safety Committee: Next Meeting: usually Thurs before last Fri of the month (25 April 2024)
- If you can’t join the HSC meetings, you can still participate by providing feedback, questions, or concerns to hsc@raeengineering.ca. Please submit feedback prior to the next meeting so it can be brought forward.
- The HSC meets the last Thursday of each month at 1pm via Teams
- Previous HSC Meeting Minutes can be found in the Teams Channel and SiteDocs.
- Safety Rewards Program: Where your commitment to RAE’s Safety Culture is rewarded!
- February PRC winners: Submit more cards! Be specific in how your coworkers are contributing to safety!

- Peer Recognitions: Due by Company Safety Meeting each month
- Performance Reviews:
- Annual Compliance Statistics have been provided to HR for the upcoming Performance Reviews. You are still encouraged to address any outstanding items.
- If you require assistance signing your competency evaluation, you can send it to Doc Mgmt. to be converted to pdf and/or have signature fields applied,
- If you are a Supervisor, arrange time with your staff to perform Annual Assigned Equipment Checklists
- Login to REMS to ensure you have read all mandatory PPGs
- Staff can review which PPGs they are missing by going to REMS and Selecting “RAE Docs Report”
- Employee should select their name from the Employee drop-down
- Tick the “Mandatory Documents Only” box
- Hit the “Search” button
- View which documents are Read, Unread, or accidentally indicated as “N/A”
- Changing the “Status” column sort will bring any Unread or N/A results to the top for easier viewing
- Reminder: You must indicate that you’ve read the 2024 HSE Manual in RFR.
SiteDocs will not be cross-checked to monitor compliance. The manual currently exists in SiteDocs for reference purposes only.

WCB Alberta
- WCB Alberta’s Worksight 2024, Issue 3 includes:
- Day of Mourning is 28 April, it is a time to honour those who lost their lives, were injured or suffered illness as a result of their employment.
- Submitting request for review on WCB decisions on accounts or claims
- Workplace workshops
- Requests for feedback re: proposed changes for Policy 04-04 (consultation open until 8 July)

ACSA
- The Your ACSA Update – April 2024 Edition includes:
- Day of Mourning Acknowledgement, in 2023, Alberta lost 165 individuals to work-related injury or illness
- ACSA’s Women in Safety Sponsorship supports women interested in pursuing ACSA’s National Health and Safety Administrator (NHSA) or National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation
- Regional Safety Committee bursaries for communities in Grande Prairie and Lethbridge for community members working towards their NCSO or NHSA certifications. Application dates vary.
