Let’s shake things up and take a look at safe lifting/handling and hearing loss. Whether on or off the clock, most people will handle/lift some sort of load and be exposed to various noise levels, i.e. shovelling or blowing snow after a winter snowfall has the potential for MMH injuries or MSI and an
increased risk for hearing damage.
