Often, an area of inspection interest is not easily accessible in large (and sometimes small) facilities. The traditional method of accessing these locations is by using expensive, time consuming and disruptive scaffolding. Using a method developed from caving enthusiasts and first used in industry on North Sea oil platforms is a much more practical approach.
